In celebration of their 150^th Anniversary, Chopard show cases the exquisite Animal World High Jewellery Collection at an exclusive gala party in the heart of Bangkok

Chopard, a legend in the world of haute horology and jewellery, was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard, famed inventor of chronometer pocket watches. The legend continued under the leadership of Karl Scheufele, who took over the firm in 1963 and, along with his wife Karin and his two children, Karl-Friedrich and Caroline, helped shaped its constant growth and created many world-famous watch and jewellery collections. Having given the world such breathtaking innovations as the Happy Diamonds line, haute jewellery collections created by Caroline Scheufele, and highly sophisticated complication watches in the L.U.C. collection inspired by the imagination and determination of Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Chopard is enjoying greater fame and popularity than ever as it marks its 150^th anniversary this year.

To celebrate this important milestone, Chopard and PMT THE HOUR GLASS, its authorized retailer and sole Chopard Boutique operator in Thailand, jointly host the Celebration Dinner of Chopard 150^th Anniversaryon Thursday, December 16 at the Grand Ballroom of Bangkok’s Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. Mr. Patrick Normand, Managing Director of Chopard Asia-Pacific, flies in to personally unveil special collections commemorating Chopard’s 150 years in business. Presented as the evening’s highlight, these include Animal World Collection, Happy Sport 150^th Anniversary, and complication watches from the L.U.C. collection, namely Louis-Ulysse The Tribute and The Engine One Tourbillon.
